Senior Revit Drafter/BIM Specialist
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

firm, with headquarters located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California,
with US offices in Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs and San Francisco and international
office in Shanghai, China and Karachi, Pakistan. Our portfolio includes sustainable
high-end custom homes, multi-unit residences, educational, mixed use and
commercial projects.
We are looking for a Sr. Revit Drafter /BIM Specialist for
our main office in Mountain View, CA.
Overview: M Designs is seeking a skilled and
detail-oriented Senior Revit Drafter/BIM Specialist to join our team. This
individual will play a key role in producing high-quality architectural and
interior design drawings. The Senior Drafter will report to the Production Lead
and Architect and work under their supervision, ensuring that all construction
documents and design details align with project specifications, US building
codes, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drafting and Documentation:
o
Prepare detailed architectural, interior, and
construction drawings using Revit. o Produce accurate technical drawings,
including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring compliance
with US codes and California building ordinances.
o
Support the design team by translating concepts and
sketches into precise digital drawings.
2. Collaboration and Coordination: o Work closely with the
architectural team, interior designers, and 3D visualization team to integrate
design concepts into comprehensive construction documents. o Coordinate with
consultants and vendors, as required, ensuring accuracy and consistency in
project documentation. o Communicate effectively with the USA office to align
project timelines, design changes, and client feedback.

Quality Control:
o Review and double-check all drawings for accuracy,
consistency, and adherence to project requirements. o Implement office drafting
standards and maintain organized digital file systems. o Ensure all drawings
reflect the latest design revisions and code requirements.
4. Project Support: o Assist in preparing square
footage calculations, zoning analysis, and material specifications.
o
Provide drafting support throughout various project
phases, from concept to construction documentation. o Help streamline workflows
by optimizing drafting processes and tools. Qualifications:
· Required: o Bachelor’s degree with diploma or degree in
Drafting, or a related field. o Proficiency in Revit with 5+ years of hands-on
drafting experience.
o
Strong skills in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
(Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel).
· Knowledge of US building codes, particularly California
regulations.
· Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities,
and organizational skills.
Skill Sets Required:
· Expertise in preparing and detailing construction
documents.
· Strong technical knowledge in architectural drafting.
· Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and
consultants.
· Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with
minimal supervision.
