View, CA, specializes in high-end residential and commercial projects. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to oversee the quality and production standards of our projects and lead our talented team toward operational excellence. Position Overview:

        The Director of Operations will ensure that all projects meet high-quality standards and are delivered efficiently.

        The role requires direct reporting to the Principal and to execute the direction set forth for the company

        Develops and monitors quality and production standards for projects.

        This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead and manage project teams, maintain productivity, and uphold operational standards.

        The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing architectural processes and possesses strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities: Operational Leadership

        Develop and implement uniformly high production standards for all design and contract documents.

        Monitor projects to ensure adherence to quality and production standards.

        Establish and maintain operational processes and systems to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

        Help with developing uniformly high production standards and monitoring projects to ensure the quality and production standards are met for all design and contract documents.

        Must be thoroughly familiar with the entire architectural process and should possess the managerial capability to lead and direct activities of all projectteam personnel while monitoring technical production on all projects to ensure adherence to quality standards at high productivity.

        Ensure construction documents and details are in compliance with code and best practices.

Project Management Oversight

        Direct and monitor the activities of project team members to ensure high productivity.

        Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure they meet client expectations and company standards.

        Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth project execution.

        Ensure design quality and construction document details align with project requirements and company standards.

        Assist in multiple aspects of client, project coordination, and general contractors including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants.

        Provide coordination of design development and construction documents on multiple projects.

        Supervise the technical work of production staff and review their drawings.

        Develop project design budgets and schedules.

        Be the project coordinator for clients for construction administration support.

        Be the support for the principal architect to manage the backend office for coordination of personnel, workload, deliverables, submittal documents coordination, quality control, etc. Team Collaboration & Mentorship

        Lead and mentor project teams to foster professional growth and maintain high performance.

        Review work produced by team members to ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy.

        Provide training and guidance to enhance the technical and managerial skills of team members. Regulatory Compliance

        Ensure all projects comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.

        Perform reviews to maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices

 

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations or project management within the architecture, construction, or engineering industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Technical Skills:

        Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, or similar).

        Proficiency in AutoCad. Revit is a plus.

        Strong understanding of architectural processes and production standards.

        Knowledge of Construction Documents, Details, and Building Codes.

Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

        Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.

        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.
